The Music Department covers a wide range of activities offering pupils the opportunity to develop practical skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities.

In class pupils study focused topics and are then encouraged to develop their skills by putting these ideas into practice. Specialist peripatetic teachers give pupils the opportunity to study a variety of instruments, including drums and guitar, as well as the more traditional instruments such as flute, clarinet, violin, viola, cello and piano. Singing lessons are also enjoyed throughout the school.

Pupils are always eager to display their musical abilities and look forward to the Spotlight evening held at the end of the school year.
